Our team of counsellors bring many different skills to our service. They are at various stages of their training and have been recruited from leading colleges and universities. We have both male and female counsellors, from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Some of the team are qualified and working towards additional qualifications and accreditation whilst others are new to counselling.
Our counsellors are selected for their caring and professional approach as well as their commitment to providing a high quality, low cost counselling service for all.
Care To Listen are very proud of their admin team, most of whom work on a voluntary basis to provide first class clerical support to both Service Directors and all the counsellors. Some of admin team are recruited from local work place programmes, having been absent from the working environment for some time. These volunteers are offered the opportunity to learn new skills and increase their experience before returning to paid employment.
